When to Use Background Removal
You should consider using Background Removal when:
You need to isolate a subject from its background for compositing or other editing tasks.

Configure Background Removal Settings
When you open the Background Removal dialog, you’ll see the following settings:
Model: Choose the model that best suits your video. General Use (Light) is recommended for most cases, but you can also choose from General Use (Light) 2K, General Use (Heavy), Matting, and Portrait for more specific needs.
Operating Resolution: Select the processing resolution. 1024x1024 is the default, but 2048x2048 can provide more accurate results for high-resolution videos.
Output Mask: Enable this option if you want to export the black-and-white mask used for background removal.
Refine Foreground: Check this box to apply a refinement pass to the foreground for a cleaner result.
Video Quality: Choose your desired output quality from low, medium, high, or maximum.
Video Write Mode: Select the encoding mode to balance speed and file size. Your options are fast, balanced, and small.
Experiment with short clips to find the best combination of settings for your needs.
