Character Reference

Character Reference mode can create consistency and variations fast

If you have a character in mind and want to explore different variations, you can use our Character Reference mode. For example, let's start with a simple prompt: "a woman with black hair." Using the Creepy Nordic + Belgian + Semi-Realistic model on our platform, this is the image we produced:

Next, to modify this character while maintaining consistency, you can utilize the Character Reference Mode. Simply upload the initial character image into the 'Reference Image' section of the inference bar. Set the Reference Image Mode to Character Reference, and adjust the Influence slider to 50. Now, let's say you want to change her eye color. Just enter the prompt: "blue eyes."

Here's the result:

As you can see, the character remains consistent, with only the eye color changing—no need for sketching or using the Canvas tool.

You can experiment further with different prompts. Adjusting the influence allows you to balance between maintaining the original image's consistency and incorporating new elements. The higher the influence, the more closely the output will adhere to the Reference Image.
