Hi, how can we help you today?

Leverage Search

Scenario Search is a powerful tool designed to help you find and retrieve any AI-generated content quickly and efficiently.

As your asset library grows to hundreds or thousands of images, models, and other creations, Search becomes essential for maintaining productivity, or as part of creative flows. This section introduces Scenario's comprehensive search capabilities and shows you how to use them effectively in some daily workflows.

Scenario Search allows you to instantly locate any visual content across your workspace using keywords, filters, or even visual references. Scenario uses automatic captioning and embedding technology behind the scenes to analyze the content of images (even when no description or prompt was provided by users), enabling rapid retrieval from just a few words or a reference image.

"Don't Sort, Search": Much like how Gmail changed email management forever, transitioning from "manual folder sorting" to simply searching within your immense collection of emails, Scenario lets you focus on creation rather than tedious organization in folders (though this is still possible, of course). You can generate content freely, knowing you can easily find anything in seconds when you need it again in your workspace.

You can access Scenario Search from anywhere in the platform. Press Ctrl/Cmd+F from any screen to open the search interface. Or click the “search bar“ in the top menu. The search interface will display a search bar (top) and results area (bottom), along with filtering options to refine your results.

Using Search Effectively

Scenario's search functionality provides several powerful ways to find your content. Let's explore how to get the most out of these search capabilities.

Start by typing some keywords in the search field. You might certainly see some suggestions to complete the word or sequence (like drag… dragonkin - dragonborn - dragon - dragons):

As you type, Scenario automatically searches through prompts, image descriptions, and any other metadata available, displaying relevant results immediately.

The results are organized into tabs by format (Images, Models, Skyboxes, Textures, Canvas…), with numbers indicating how many results exist for each category.

Refining Your Search with Filters

Scenario's Search true power comes from a comprehensive filtering and sorting system, accessible through dropdown menus beneath the search bar. By simply click “Filters” (to the right) you can select more parameters like:

  • Type - Filter by creation method (Generate, Enhance, Expand, Vectorize, etc.)

  • Author - See content from specific team members or just your own work

  • Date - Find content from specific time periods (Today, This Week, This Month or Custom.)

  • Tags - Filter by custom tags you've applied to your content

  • Collections - Narrow results to specific collections

  • Models - Find content created with particular AI models

  • Limit Search To - Focus your search within specific data fields (Prompt, Negative Prompt, Description, Seed)

These filters can be combined to create highly specific searches. For example, you could find all images

  • created by you or a colleague

  • over the past two weeks

  • using a particular custom model you’ve trained

  • containing the word "landscape" in the prompt,

  • and associated with the tag “marketing”

Viewing and Organizing Results

As you’re searching (and finding) your content, you can control how it's displayed:

  • Sort Options - Choose between Most Relevant, Newest, or Oldest

  • Layout Options - Select from Masonry, Fill in Grid, Fit in Grid, or Row views

  • Zoom Level - Adjust the size of result thumbnails using the slider

From the search results, you can perform batch actions on multiple selections such as add to collections, apply tags to the selected content, download/export or delete. This makes organizing content after-the-fact quick and efficient.

Part 2 - Advanced Search Techniques

Drag and drop any image into the search bar to find visually similar content. This works both for images already in your Scenario library and for external images uploaded from your computer.

The visual search analyzes colors, compositions, and subjects to find matches, even without any text query. It’s very useful to retrieve an image that was likely generated on Scenario, but you can’t easily retrieve with which model, prompt and settings. Upload that image and it will pop up in the first results.

Example of an “image only” search (no added text was provided)

For the most precise results, combine text search with filters and visual search. This hybrid approach allows you to find exactly what you need in even the largest content libraries.

Enable "Boost" to activate AI-powered search. This feature finds more results using advanced AI embeddings and allows searching in any language. It complements the traditional search method, so feel free to experiment and compare both options to find what works best for your needs.

Part 3 - Practical Search Examples

Here are some real-world examples of how Search can facilitate some workflows:

Finding a Reference Image

A week after creating dozens of character concepts, you need to retrieve that one perfect version but you haven’t saved or tagged it. Rather than scrolling through your history, simply type the character description in search, select the date range plus your specific character model from the filters, and instantly see all variations you created. You will likely retrieve your image faster.

Locating a Shared Asset

A team member mentions an image they created months ago using a specific style. Even without exact details, you can find it by searching for style-related keywords and filtering by their name in the Author dropdown.

Creating a Collection Retroactively

Realized you need all your "fantasy landscape" generated visuals, in one place? Search for "fantasy landscape," use the Type filter to select only "Generate" results, then batch select the images and add them to a new collection with one click.

Finding the Right Model

You have a reference image and want to create similar content. Upload the image to visual search, and observe which models appear most frequently in the results. This suggests which models might work best for your project.

And more! For some tips to benefit from Search even more, remember:

  • Search broadly, then refine - Start with general searches and add filters incrementally

  • Apply strategic tags - Even a few standard tags dramatically improve searchability of content

  • Save frequent searches - For common queries, you can simply bookmark the search URL for instant access

Final Notes

Scenario's Search functionality isn't just a convenience: it's a productivity multiplier that transforms how you work with AI-generated content. By letting you instantly retrieve any asset, regardless of when or how it was created, Search enables a creative workflow focused on generation rather than organization.

For teams and studios managing hundreds of thousands of assets, this search capability becomes essential for maintaining consistency while allowing everyone to access and build upon previous work. Like all Scenario tools, Search is designed to provide both power and precision, giving you complete control over your growing library of AI-generated content.
