This Privacy Policy ("Policy") outlines how Scenario, Inc. ("Scenario", "our", or "we") collects, uses, and discloses certain Personal Information obtained through our website at https://scenario.com (inclusive of all subdomains such as https://app.scenario.com), referred to as the "Site", as well as the information we process when offering our services via our software platform (referred to as the "Services"). By using our Services, you are agreeing to the terms of this Policy.
In the course of providing our Services, we might collect details about our users, acting on behalf of our customers and users. The way we handle information on behalf of our customers is dictated by our contract with the respective customer and that customer's specific privacy policies. We do not possess control over and cannot be held accountable for the privacy policies or privacy practices of our customers or any other third parties.
This Policy clarifies the type of data we gather when you engage with the Site and/or the Services, the purpose behind collecting such data, the way it is employed, and the rights and choices you have.

‍What Information We Collect and Maintain About You.

We collect and maintain Personal Information, including but not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, and/or payment information, especially when you sign up for an account or use the Services. We also collect certain information about you and your device when you use, access, or interact with our site. We use this information to provide you with our services, communicate with you, and improve our offerings. We may also use your Personal Information for marketing purposes, unless you opt-out of receiving such communications. We do not collect information from any third parties.

The Site or the emails that you receive from Scenario may use an application known as a “web beacon” (also known as a “clear gif” or “web bug”). A web beacon is an electronic file that usually consists of a single-pixel image. It can be embedded in a web page or in an email to transmit information, which could include Personal Information. For example, it can allow an email sender to determine whether a user has opened a particular email.

How We Use and Process Your Information

We use the information that we collect for a variety of purposes. Our legal bases for processing your Personal Information are: 1) our legitimate interest in running and maintaining our business; 2) performance and fulfillment of our contracts; 3) your consent; and 4) compliance with our legal obligations. These third parties may use web logs or web beacons, and they may set and access cookies on your computer or other device. In particular, the Site uses Google Analytics to help collect and analyze certain information for the purposes discussed above. You may opt out of the use of cookies by Google Analytics here.

(3) Legal purposes. We may use or share your information with third parties when we believe, in our sole discretion, that doing so is necessary

We take significant precautions to safeguard your Personal Information by adhering to generally accepted standards for data protection during transmission and once we receive it. Our data security is managed through Amazon Web Services (AWS), implementing their security best practices, including encryption of all customer data stored in our databases, data firewalls, network and system monitoring, and access control systems. We take all necessary precautions to ensure that customer data remains secure and is not exposed to any unauthorized personnel.
However, like any hosted service provider, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties or personnel will not gain access to your Personal Information despite our efforts. Your information will travel through third-party infrastructures not under our control while using the Site and the Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information you transmit to other users of the Site or the Services, and you should avoid transmitting personal or identifying information to other users. Data Retention

We retain Personal Information about you necessary to fulfill the purpose for which that information was collected or as required or permitted by law. We are using a content delivery network that deploys data at the edge in several countries, and the information that we collect through or in connection with the Services is transferred to and processed in the United States for the purposes described above. Scenario may also subcontract the processing of your data to, or otherwise share your data with, affiliates or third parties in the United States or countries other than your country of residence. The data protection laws in these countries may be different from, and less stringent than, those in your country of residence. By using the Site or by providing any personal or other information to us, you expressly consent to such transfer and processing.
