Guide to Sketching on Reference Images for Game Artists

The Sketch tool is an easy way to create or modify a reference image

To find the sketch tool on the inference page, open the Reference Image Tab and select 'Sketch'

You can use the sketch tool to easily modify cosmetic attributes of an image:

We recommend an Influence value of between 0 -25 depending on how much overall variation you want in the image output. For even more control and consistency you can select a Dual Reference Mode. For more information you can click here.

You can sketch your own Reference Image from Scratch:

Remove the Background of your sketch and reduce the Influence to between 0 - 25 for the best results when sketching from scratch. Use a detailed prompt to describe exactly the scene you are sketching to the model. This technique works best with a model Composed of multiple LoRAs. For more on this see the following:
