FeyNobg removes the background from any image and returns a transparent PNG with the subject preserved. Drop in a photo, product shot, or game character: no prompt required. The cutout is ready to composite onto a new scene, drop into a layout, or hand off to a designer.

Built on BiRefNet by Feyninc, FeyNobg is an open-source model tuned for high-resolution dichotomous segmentation. It is strong on fine edges such as hair, fur, and product silhouettes, and holds up on camouflage and low-contrast scenes in published benchmarks.

How to Use FeyNobg

  1. Open FeyNobg on Scenario.

  2. Upload or select the Image you want to cut out.

  3. Optionally set Seed if you need a reproducible run.

  4. Generate. The result is a transparent PNG with the subject isolated.

There is no text prompt. Quality depends on a clear primary subject. Busy scenes with several competing subjects can confuse the cutout; crop tighter when that happens.

Parameters

FeyNobg has a short parameter list. Most of the time you only set Image.

Image

Required. The input whose background should be removed. The subject is preserved on a transparent background. See the product, character, and fine-edge examples above.

Seed

Optional. Integer from 0 to 2147483647. Use the same seed when you need a reproducible cutout for the same image. Leave blank for a random seed.

Tips for Better Results

  1. Prefer a clear primary subject. One dominant subject against a distinct background cuts cleaner than a crowded frame.

  2. Crop tight when subjects compete. If two people or objects fight for attention, crop to the one you want before running FeyNobg.

  3. Use high-resolution sources. Fine hair and fur benefit from sharper inputs; soft, heavily compressed images lose edge detail.

  4. Lock Seed for A/B checks. When comparing inputs or pipeline steps, set Seed so the cutout path stays comparable.

  5. Check transparency in a dark viewer. Checkerboards hide thin alpha issues; place the PNG on a dark or colored plate to inspect edges.

Known Limitations

  • No prompt control. You cannot tell FeyNobg which subject to keep with text. Crop or mask upstream when the wrong subject wins.

  • Multi-subject scenes. Groups, reflections, or busy product tables can leave fragments or drop secondary objects.

  • Semi-transparent materials. Glass, smoke, and soft glow can be treated as subject or background unpredictably; verify those edges carefully.

  • Text baked into the background. Typography that sits behind the subject is removed with the background. Overlay text again after the cutout if you still need it.
